Vehicle donations to The Arc may be tax deductible. Our organization has been designated by the IRS as a 501c (3) charity. Please, consult with a tax professional on how to maximize your tax deduction since every car donation and tax situation is unique.
Donate in your will - Support The Arc of Central Virginia and meet your financial goals. Include The Arc in your will or name The Arc as beneficiary of an IRA or insurance policy. There are many financial tools so consult with your attorney or financial planner about trusts, annuities, and other tax savings strategies.
Donate Physical Items – Social and Individual activities, exercises, crafts, cooking and games are a big part of each day at The Arc. Items they love to use are artificial flowers, ribbon, washable craft paints, card stock, construction paper, baskets, felt, colored pencils, crayons, makers, CD’s, glitter, puzzles (24 to 100 pieces) new activity and word search books.
