Camp Meadowlarks is a super-fun four week summer camp for children, teens and adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Campers experience a full roster of summer camp activities including water play, arts and crafts, music and drama, sports, games, nature study, theme days and much more. All activities are adapted to ensure that every camper experiences success and has fun!
• July 6th thru July 31st
• 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Arts and crafts, music, swimming, games, guest speakers, and local trips.
• Low cost weekly fee. Limited number of scholarships available for those unable to pay for services.Camper Application

The Arc of Central Virginia is hosting a Benefit Concert featuring amazing local bands – The Ruckus – along with Karlee Raye and the Haymakers.

Live music, food trucks, beer garden and kids zone featuring face painting, bounce houses and Southpaw, courtesy of The Lynchburg Hillcats. Bring your blankets and chairs for a fun filled family afternoon! We ask that you please leave your coolers and (although we love your sweet fur babies) pets at home.

The Annual Meeting is our opportunity to come together and recognize great achievements, dedicated volunteers and celebrate another year’s accomplishments. Come celebrate the accomplishments of the last year alongside other members and friends of The Arc of Central Virginia. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what we do, who we are, and why we care about serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Join us Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. for hors d’oeuvres. Followed by our Annual Business Meeting at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing all of you!
Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Come celebrate the season with us!
Bring along your family, friends and colleagues to help with the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree. We'll have Christmas Carolers along with hot chocolate, hot cider and other holiday treats!
Don’t forget to dress accordingly, as all activities will take place outside.
We hope to see a big crowd at this festive gathering!
